Shotton Steel 2nds 19 Rhos 2nds 0

Shotton Steel 19 Rhos 0
Shotton played against a fierce wind in the 1st half but still dominated against a handy Rhos outfit with the first try coming from Joe Duncan after some slick handling and a jinking run.
Shotton's dominance continued into the second half especially in the scrums. The possession and driving runs saw Shane Poynton used all his strength to crash over on 62 minutes. Second row Sam Wilding created a try all of his with a splendid 30 metre dash evading numerous tackles and attempts to stop him. Skipper Richard Grace added the extras. Respect goes to the referee who allowed the game to flow despite the difficult weather conditions. Man of the match for Shotton was Sam Wilding.
